This policy explains what information Aquanimo Service collects when you use this site and our services, why, how long we keep it, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible for your data

Quotes and contracts are handled separately

Quotes and contract signing are handled by a separate tool, Resanimo, which informs you about the use of your data at the moment you provide it. Once the contract is signed, we re-enter into our own tracking tool the information needed to carry out the service. This policy covers our showcase website and our service-tracking tool (the “client space” and the team's internal application).

What we collect and why

When you write to us via the contact form

We collect your name, email address and, if you provide them, your phone number, message and details of the requested care (type and number of animals, dates, town, aquarium volume, services wanted). This information is used only to answer your request and to prepare a possible quote. The legal basis is your consent and pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

When you register for an event

For a group walk or another event, we collect your name, email address, phone number, home address, the dates chosen, information about your dog or dogs and, if you leave one, your message. The address is used to work out the journey when we pick up your dog and to check the distance to the starting point. The legal basis is the pre-contractual step taken at your request.

When you become a client

After the contract is signed, we record the information needed for the service: your contact details, the service address, information about your animals (name, species, habits, care instructions) and the visit schedule. At each visit we produce a report that may include photos of your animal. The legal basis is the performance of the contract between us.

When you access your client space

The client space gives you access, via a personal share link, to the reports of the visits concerning your animals. Access is limited to your own services.

When you browse the site (audience measurement)

To know which pages are useful and improve the site, we measure visits with Umami, installed on our own servers. Umami sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites and does not keep your IP address. If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, nothing is measured. This data stays with us and is never sold or shared.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. The only cookies used are technical and strictly necessary: they keep your session while you are logged in (administration or client space). They do not require a consent banner.

Who has access to your data

Your data is accessible only to the Aquanimo Service team, for the needs of the service. We do not sell it and do not share it for commercial purposes. It may be shared with a veterinarian in an emergency concerning your animal, or with an authority if the law requires it. The site and our tools are hosted on our own servers, in France: your data is not transferred outside the European Union.

How long we keep it

• Contact requests with no follow-up: up to 1 year after the last exchange.
• Event registrations: up to 1 year after the event.
• Client data (services, animals, reports, photos): 5 years after the last service, consistent with our terms of sale.
• Accounting and invoicing documents: the applicable legal retention period (10 years).

Beyond that, your data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to contact@aquanimoservice.com; proof of identity may be requested. We reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr.

Security

We put in place technical and organisational measures to protect your data: access restricted to the team, encryption of exchanges with the site (HTTPS), regular backups and isolation of each client's data.
